There is nothing unusual about glitches in software. So when I had problems in web check in for a Kingfisher flight on 26 April, I called their Customer care and talked to one Abhishek who said he has blocked a particular seat for me. Later I found out that the problem was due to confusion in "first name" and "last name" as given during booking by the travel desk. So I called up our travel desk and explained the situation. I was assured that she has talked to Kingfisher and had made the necessary changes in the name and also has done the web check in for me. However I was surprised when, at the check in counter at the Airport, I was told that there was no check in for me!!
My request to look into the matter has not resulted in any response at all.
